Location for me was perfect, staff are very friendly and decent
Poor breakfast and very expensive, as you have to pay extra 45 SAR. Fitness and gym wasn’t work and had no lights and very hot due to no AC. Very very extremely poor internet connection, however in Saudi Arabia internet over all is perfect, but internet connection at the hotel is extremely poor

Pleasant
I have stayed here on and off since 2016 and have introduced a number of people to stay here. I liked it because it was close to where I was working and for the price offered a suite style with 2 rooms for a reasonable price. It is in need of renovation as there are now a lot of newer hotels nearby. On the whole the staff are friendly and helpful especially in the cafe and the porters. There is a small swimming pool gym and massage facility too. The cafe offers a range of reasonably priced dishes. It's a bit quirky but has character and it's nice to be with a lot of locals. However they do need to review their staff and overall management if they want to attract more foreign guests.
Unfortunately new management have employed a range of staff on reception some of whom don't speak English or in one case are very rude and lack any good customer relation skills. There is one local Saudi and an Egyptian who do speak English and are very helpful. The aircon is old noisy and cannot be altered in each room. Housekeeping is hit and miss I asked for an iron 3 times never got it. Had a leak in the bathroom which stopped but nobody came to clear up the water. You can put a notice on your door in the morning to clean the room but it is still not done by the afternoon. When they do clean it is very well done. Electronic keys need recharging almost every day. The TV has very few channels.
